VALLEY OF TEARS GRAVEL
March 5–6, 2027 | Turkey, Texas
Valley of Tears returns to Turkey, Texas, for its fourth year of racing in the Texas Panhandle.
What started as a gravel race in a small Texas town has grown into a weekend that brings together some of the biggest names in the sport, competitive amateurs, and riders from across the country.
The racing is fast, the terrain is unforgiving, and the experience goes well beyond the finish line.
FRIDAY | DIRT CRIT & EXPO
The weekend kicks off in downtown Turkey with the Valley of Tears Dirt Crit. Short, fast, and aggressive racing featuring top professional talent, a substantial prize purse, and plenty of action for spectators.
Friday also brings the event expo, free Kids Crit, and an evening of racing and hanging out in Turkey.
SATURDAY | VALLEY OF TEARS GRAVEL
Saturday takes riders into the rugged landscape of the Texas Panhandle and Caprock Canyons State Park.
Expect fast gravel roads, challenging climbs, technical sections, and some of the most unique terrain in gravel racing. Whether you’re lining up to compete at the front or taking on your own challenge, Valley of Tears delivers a course and experience you won’t soon forget.
And when the racing ends, the weekend isn’t over. The post-race gathering at Hotel Turkey has become a Valley of Tears tradition.
