Welcome to the 5th Annual Trough Creek Gravel Grinder!  We are very excited to continue this race in our 2027 Pennsylvania Gravel Series!  We've been getting a lot of feedback that this has been the racers favorite course of the year.  Hope that you will join us and see for yourself.

  7:30 AM -- Registration Opens

  8:30 AM -- Registration Closes

  8:45 AM -- Racer Meeting At Start

  9:00 AM -- RACE START

11:30 AM -- Post Race Meal Begins

11:50 AM -- Short Series Protest Period Ends

12:00 PM -- Short Series Route Awards

12:20 PM -- Half Series Protest Period Ends

12:30 PM -- Half Series Route Awards

  1:20 PM --  Full Series Protest Period Ends

  1:30 PM -- Full Series Route Awards

Refunds, Transfers, Deferrals

• No transfers or deferrals under ANY circumstances.
• If race sells out, we will consider a transfer to another race if we have someone on a waitlist to take your spot.
• Refunds available until January 31, 2027, of 75% of entry fee.
• Refunds available until February 28, 2027, of 50% of entry fee.
• No refunds after February 28, 2027, NO EXCEPTIONS.
• WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO PURCHASE THE RACE INSURANCE THAT IS OFFERED FROM THE REGISTRATION SITE.

Race Rules

While we've rarely had to enforce race rules at our events, having clear guidelines in place is important to ensure fairness and consistency should any issues arise during a race.

Our events are not sanctioned by USA Cycling (USAC), but we use their rules as a general guideline, recognizing USAC as the national governing body for cycling in the Unites States.  As a grassroots race organization, we understand that some USAC rules may not apply to the nature or format of our events.  The Race Director reserves the right to make final decisions on situations not specifically addressed by USAC rules or when adjustments are necessary to best fit our events.
