The Mid South returns to Stillwater, Oklahoma, for its 15th edition from March 11 to 13, 2027, an early-season gravel and running festival on the red dirt roads around town. Thursday brings group rides and a welcome party. Friday has the running events (half marathon, 50K and the 'Double') and the professional 100-mile race. The main cycling day is Saturday, March 13, with courses of about 106, 58 and 12 miles based in downtown Stillwater.
Registration is open on Movemint. The event grew out of Stillwater's District Bicycles community. It offers neutral water and nutrition at the halfway point of each cycling route, and Orange Seal provides neutral mechanical support on the 100-mile course. Outside support is only allowed at the 100-mile halfway point. Entries can't be refunded or deferred, but they can be transferred until March 1, 2027. Check-in and the live-music main stage are at Block 34 in downtown Stillwater.
Race-day forecast is not available yet. Forecast data appears within 14 days of the event, so this section is showing historical race-day averages for planning.
