Life Time Sea Otter Classic Gravel opens the 2027 Life Time Grand Prix and is a qualifier for UNBOUND Gravel. All four courses are new for 2027, exploring more of the Fort Ord National Monument: classic gravel roads, climbs and fast descents, plus a few non-technical, flowing singletrack sections on the west side of Fort Ord.
The 90 mile Pro / Life Time Grand Prix race runs Thursday, April 15; the 15, 30 and 60 mile races run Friday, April 16, with a new self-selected corral start for the 60 mile. The 60 mile awards at least 50 UNBOUND Gravel qualifying spots (riders must complete the first lap before 12:40 p.m.). Registration includes a 4-day Sea Otter Classic festival pass, feed zone and medical support, post-race lunch and showers. No race-day registration; minimum age 15.
