The King Ridge Grasshopper is round three of the 2027 Grasshopper Adventure Series, held Saturday, March 20, 2027 in western Sonoma County from Monte Rio, California. The mostly paved 'Greatest Hits' loop strings together Joy Road, Coleman Valley Road, Meyers Grade, Fort Ross Road, Seaview Road and King Ridge Road, with a 91-mile long course (about 9,116 ft) and a 58-mile short course (about 6,330 ft).
The event is scored on timed segments on open roads: three for the long course and two for the short course, with the first segment at the bottom of Joy Road opening at 9 a.m. Riders roll out on their own from the start area. The weekend adds a Friday shakeout ride from Monte Rio and a Sunday social ride from Duncans Mills.
