To be eligible for a championship the rider must be a resident of Illinois and there must be at least 5 riders in that field to contest it. *5 rider minimum pertains to 1 and 2 championships. If there is not 5 cat 1 and 5 cat 2 riders to contest the championship then only 1 championship will be awarded across Cat 1/2. “Minimum 5 person field. If that threshold is not meet, there will be only one winner in a combined Cat 1/2 state championship field” - ICA. There is no field size minimum needed for Junior races to contest the championship.

REGISTRATION: Race day registration opens at 7:00AM and closes 30 minutes before each race.

 Online registration closes no earlier than the Thursday evening prior to each race.

 PreRegister online at BikeReg.com. Day-Of Entry fees are by cash (preferred) or possibly on BikeReg (see website).

 Add $10 fee for Day-Of registration. No refunds. *More expensive race charged first. Races held rain, snow, or shine. 

LICENSES: All riders must have a USAC racing license/membership, One-Day license: Beginner: $15, 
Experienced: $25. Purchase/Renew your annual USAC racing license at USACycling.org (adults $110, Juniors $40).

CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS: One-Day license holders must race Women Cat 5, Men Cat 5, Masters, SS, or Junior. You must race in your USAC CX category. Please check your 2026 USAC license. Apply for upgrades at USACycling.org. CCC series points are NOT USAC upgrade points.

AWARDS: Podiums awarded immediately after each race except Juniors unless otherwise directly by the announcer.
