Lauf Gravel Worlds returns to Lincoln, Nebraska in 2027 for its week-long festival of grassroots gravel, with every bike race starting and finishing at the Sandhills Global Event Center on the northeast edge of town. The 300-mile Long Voyage rolls out Friday evening, August 27, and the main bike day is Saturday, August 28, with the flagship GW150 (about 150 miles and 10,000 ft of climbing through the farmland of southeast Nebraska), the GW75, the non-competitive GW35 and the GW10 fun ride. Pro/elite men and women race the GW150 for the Gravel Worlds title and world champion jerseys.
Every Gravel Worlds event is fully self-supported: no team cars, crews or handoffs, only sponsored checkpoints with water and basic food plus convenience stores along the route. Courses are published 7 to 14 days before race day. The week also includes an expo, group rides, a gravel triathlon (hosting the 2027 USAT Gravel Triathlon National Championships) and a Sunday run series, with Full and Half Double options for riders who race Saturday and run Sunday. Registration for 2027 is open on Movemint.
