Gravel Roll - Opelika Okey Dokey Weekend!

For more detailed info, visit www.gravelroll.com

The Gravel Roll is pleased to be returning to Opelika, Alabama for our fourth Opelika Okey Dokey for a full weekend in 2027. We will have Friday Night activities, Saturday Race and Saturday night Gravel Roll Season Celebration. In addition we will have a Sunday Funday Bonus Ride for anyone who sticks around.

We will be updating our courses for 2027. We'll still look to keep around the same distances (between 25-35, 60-70, and 90-100) but we want to freshen the landscape up and put a fresh twist on the roads we've been riding the last few years!

Opelika means "Big Swamp" in the Creek language, and you'll ride past dozens of creeks and over bridges seemingly lost to time and space. But don't worry, there's none of the loose stuff here, just hard red dirt interspersed with a sprinkling of gravel across miles and miles of twisting and rolling terrain.

You'll ride through endless timberland and spooky hollows and be rewarded with occasional views of the Fall Line as it stretches across the landscape. Look closely and you may even discover another Appalachiosaurus hiding in plain sight in the road berms.

If you are looking to put some finishing touches on your Unbound training this is the perfect course. While Unbound will lack the curving roads, the short and recurring undulations of the Okey Dokey mimic much of what you will experience in Kansas, of course, we always promise you trees!

Stay posted for more details once we get our early date announcements for the full series launched.
