Doom returns for its sixth edition with a new start/finish in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and a return to the Boston Mountains. Two entirely new routes bring together some of the most iconic backcountry riding in the Arkansas Ozarks, revisiting the classics that helped shape the event while venturing into new corners of the region. The result is a fresh take on Doom, built around the same pursuit of exceptional mixed-terrain riding that has driven the event from the beginning.
Mount Sequoyah will serve as a home base for riders and supporters throughout the event.
422 Miles | 43k+ Feet of Vert | ~30 Miles Singletrack | 70% Unpaved
A return to Doom classics from editions 1–4 alongside new terrain, singletrack, and notable hike-a-bike sections. Proper rowdy backcountry riding; what we call mountain bike gravel.
262 Miles | 24k+ Feet of Vert | ~25 Miles Singletrack | 70% Unpaved
Deep into the Boston Mountains and back through Oark, where Doom's first two editions began. Classic Doom terrain, new ground, singletrack, and hike-a-bikes; equal parts backcountry bliss and misery.
We recommend a cross-country mountain bike with tires measuring 2.2 inches or wider. While singletrack makes up a relatively small portion of both routes, much of the remaining terrain is equally demanding, with rough, chunky backroads and steep gradients that favor durable, high-volume tires, mountain bike gearing, and more forgiving geometry. Modern gravel bikes continue to push the boundaries of what's possible, but we believe a mountain bike is the better choice for these routes, even for riders prioritizing speed and efficiency.
More details will be shared with registered participants via email as the event approaches.

A limited number of additional overnight options are available at Parker Hall for Friday, March 19, the night before the Grand Depart.
Parker Hall Rooms: Private dorm-style rooms upstairs in Parker Hall with either two twin beds or two sets of bunk beds, an in-room sink, and access to shared bathrooms, showers, and a community kitchen.
Vehicle Camping: Guaranteed parking in the lot adjacent to Parker Hall, with access to the community kitchen, restrooms, and showers. No hookups, trailers, or vehicles longer than a Sprinter van. Vehicles may remain parked throughout the duration of your ride.
Both options are available as separate add-ons through the event registration page, subject to availability. Parker Hall rooms are not included in Mount Sequoyah's regular lodging reservations.
Doom is a self-supported event. Riders are responsible for their own resupply and equipment throughout the route, with no planned neutral aid stations or event-provided pickup services.
Over the years, local businesses, communities, and groups have occasionally provided additional hospitality along the routes, including places to sleep and sometimes food or other resources. Nothing of this nature is currently established for 2027. Should anything come together, details will be shared ahead of the event and made available to all riders.
Official event rules will be shared with registered participants ahead of the event.
Live tracking is required for all participants. Riders may use their own compatible tracking device or rent one through our third-party tracking provider for an additional fee. Tracking allows friends, family, and the event team to follow rider progress throughout the course. Additional details regarding device compatibility, rentals, and tracking setup will be shared with registered participants as the event approaches.
Full refunds are available through the end of February 2027. After that, riders are welcome to transfer their entry to another participant if they can find someone interested in taking their spot. Arranging the transfer is the rider's responsibility.
Registration is $100 through the end of December 2026. A single $25 price increase takes effect January 1, 2027, bringing registration to $125. All prices are before applicable taxes and registration fees.
