It's time for the weirdest, silliest, most festive race of the year. Let's get wierd with your best holiday costumes and decorations, doggie cross, secret drinks and a Bombers race! 'Tis the season and this crazy, weird day of cyclocross will be sure to get you in the holiday spirit. Everyone is welcome -- especially newbies or those who are curious to try cross.
NOTE: This is a FUN event, meaning only top 5 will be scored and NO results will be reported to USAC. We're doing this training race style so no points, just holiday fun.
ALL first time racers -- the Oak City Cycling team will cover your entry fees. Register online (beginner) and get reimbursed after you race!
Registration will be online - even day of. Second races are $10.
Come early and stay all day for the fun. Doggie cross is at 11:20 am. Bombers race at 2:15 pm -- ride anything other than a cross or mountain bike. Bombers registration is $5 with all proceeds going to Oaks & Spokes. We'll also take five cans of food and get those over to the food bank if that's better for you.
Costumes, decorations and antics are highly encouraged. A portion of all proceeds will go to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC and Oaks & Spokes!
