We have been putting on this event at Centennial Park in Lawrence, KS for over a decade.
Centennial Park is a spectator friendly venue in Central Larwence. Even though we have put on this race for more than a decade, the course has never been the same and we plan for a new and challenging course this year. In fact, our challenge is not to make the course too hard and with enough sections of recovery. There will be plenty of elevation change to push your limits!
Free Kid's Race - We are excited to invite all little future cyclocross stars to join us for a FREE Kid's cyclocross race at 12:20pm. This is a great opportunity for kids under 9 years old to experience the thrill of cyclocross on a shortened course designed just for them. Each kid will receive their own number and will receive a finisher medal after the race. Just bring a bike and helmet. Please register each kid and sign the waiver.
Parking - Please park in the Northwest corner of the parking lots to the South of the course in the rear of the shopping center. Please DO NOT park near the Merc Co+op. There will be signage to direct you to the designated parking area.
Food and Drink - FREE pulled pork sandwiches, sides, desert, and drinks will be provided!
Fine Print - Race day registration opens at 10:00am. Registration closes 30 min. before posted race start times. $10 per race late fee for on-site registration. All USAC cyclocross rules apply. USAC license required for all riders. One-day licenses are available online for $15.00 for Category 5. One day licenses for all other categories are $35.00 and must be purchased online.
