The Black Canyon Crusher takes riders through one of Arizona’s most rugged and scenic desert landscapes. Known for its fast, flowing singletrack and technical rocky sections, the trail challenges competitors with steep climbs, thrilling descents, and sweeping views of the Bradshaw Mountains and Sonoran Desert. Riders navigate a mix of cactus-lined paths, dry creek crossings, and exposed ridgelines that test both endurance and technical skill. With its combination of natural beauty and demanding terrain, the race offers a true test of grit and determination while showcasing one of the state’s premier long-distance trails.
Starting in Mayer, AZ at Chauncey Ranch, 70 mile racers will get to warm up a bit on the road before diving into the single track and heading south. The 35 mile race starts at Deep Canyon Ranch in Black Canyon City, AZ once on the trail will race the lower half of the full course.
Survive the race and be ready to party. The after party kicks off at the Pioneer Living History Museum, the finish line for both races. Enjoy music and food and the company of the other survivors.
