Thank you for coming back for year three of our little shindig up in the Flint region; because of your participation (in the past 2 years) we've been able to give back roughly $2200 to Michigan based non-non-profits (LMB, Make-A-Wish)… That's rad.
Per the direction of the rest the MICX Series, and since CX is punk AF… the gender expansive category will always be held at Spearhead-CX. In the future we will continue to keep this category because as an informal collective of goobers wearing lycra, Team Consolidated believes everyone has a right to ride their bike and pit their skills against one another. Just be mindful of the following information regarding the national points system governed by USAC:
The “Gender Expansive” field is open to any non-binary athletes and transgender athletes for whom want to try their hand at racing. Points are awarded per current USAC rules.
USAC rules aside, we ask all participants to be chill, courteous, and respectful to one another. Be mindful any tomfoolery or disrespect to any participant, official, volunteer, random wildlife, etc is grounds for dismissal from the race with limited opportunities for refund. Any race-day staff/volunteer remains the right to kick anyone out. Sorry Charlie.
