Welcome to the Second Annual Endgrain Coffee Roasters Cyclocross race held in historic Alcyon Park!
Multi-Race discount now in place! Add a second race for just $20
Due to a century old town by-law, all events must take place after 12:00pm on Sundays, hence the late start times.
The course will consist of a mix of grass, a small section of paved walking path, and a good chunk of the wooded disc golf course. Feedback from 2025 was taken into account some small changes will be made including but not limited to: No turns on the disc golf tee boxes, additional tape in the woods, possible relocation of the finish if we can find a good spot.
Helmets must be worn at all times and absolutely zero alcohol consumption on borough property.
Registration will open an hour before the first race, day of registration is available, cash only. Promotor has the right to combine categories based on registration numbers, etc.
Licensing Requirements: This is a USA Cycling sanctioned event. All riders must present a valid license at registration and sign an event release form (minors must have a parent/guardian sign). One-day and annual licenses will be available for purchase at registration. Junior discounts only applicable to junior race fields. Current USAC Fee Schedule here. https://usacycling.org/memberships-old/one-day-licenses
Call-up Protocol: Call ups will be given based on NJBA Standings and rules. Above all we will use promoters discretion. If you yell at the promoter you will go to the back.
Lapped Riders: Lapped riders will finish on the same lap as the leaders. Riders in danger of being lapped must yield to oncoming racers and are not to interfere with their progress or trail behind them. Laps are pretty fast on this course, and come in around 7-8 minutes.
Results: Results will be posted at the registration area. Results will be made final 15 minutes after being posted. The top 3 finishers in every event must report immediately to the start/finish line for awards and photos.
A quick and dirty rendering of what the course is going to look like: Some off-camber stuff, INTO THE WOODS WE GO, back out to a 180 degree log over situation, then into the sand, loop out around the playground, then a smooth ride around the warning track of a ballfield, rinse repeat as many times as the officials see fit.
